Castilian February specials at Juan Sanchez 

Travel with us to a different region of Spain every month and try some of the most traditional dishes of each region.

Every week our chef will prepare for you a different dish inspired by the region we are visiting that month, so you can try something new every time you dine with us!

This month we are visiting Castilla –León.

In north-western Spain, this region is famous for

excellent meat like lamb or suckling pig as well as

well known wines like Verdejo or Ribera del Duero

Our Castilian specials by week:

Week 1: Hojaldre de morcilla con patatas

A Spanish black pudding cake with potatoes, toasted bread and almonds

Week 2: Chuletillas de cordero

Lamb cutlets

Week 3: Patatas a la importancia

Potatoes with saffron –a favorite dish of the Spanish

monarchy

Week 4: Cochinillo

Castilian style suckling pig

Of course, you can also try some of the best wines of this region

Verdejo (white wine) and Ribera del Duero (red wine)

We also have a traditional Castilian homemade dessert
