Flamenco Evening in Chorlton, Manchester
On Sunday 15th May we are hosting another live Flamenco evening.
This night will be full of traditional Spanish music and vocals, passionate and creative dancing and authentic mouthwatering Spanish tapas.
Araceli Garcia who is an outstanding Flamenco dancer will even demonstrate some of the beautiful moves – if you want to join in whilst the band are performing!
Araceli Garcia is a dancer and choreographer born in Cartagena (Spain). She studied classical ballet and contemporary dance but it was her fascination with the Flamenco world led her to study under teachers such as La Lupi, La Chiqui de Jerez, Eduardo Guerrero, and Pilar Ogalla among others. Araceli Garcia created her own flamenco school at The Dancehouse Theatre in Manchester while she was part of the flamenco group Calaita formed in mid 2007. Soon after, she choreographed “Blood Wedding” theatre production presented in Liverpool, chosen to be the European Capital of Culture in 2008 also participating in “Carmen” production at the Peacock Theatre in London in 2012. In 2011 and 2013 La Cartagenera performed in the sold-out productions of ‘Una Pataita’ a London based flamenco company which she is currently part of.

Live Flamenco in Manchester
On Sunday 22nd November we are hosting another live Flamenco evening. A night full of traditional Spanish music, dancing and singing along with traditional mouthwatering Spanish tapas.
We will be joined by the outstanding Araceli Garcia, who will be dancing whilst Chico Pere plays the guitar and Matt Nickson plays the saxophone.
Flamenco evenings are proving very popular and we have very high hopes for this one. Either choose to join us at 7pm or 8.30pm.

This flamenco evening will be a bit more informal than usual; every one wishing to dance will be welcome and even more, free typical Spanish drinks will be given to those coming with any flamenco related item (dress, shoes, hat, castanets…)
